Today I am presenting another written interview with Mohammed Shaker. He is the CEO / President of Panda CashBack LLC. A retail cash back shopping start up that he founded back in 2012.

1. What got you interested in starting a cash back shopping site? Share your story.
I have always been passionate about helping people save money. Back in college, I used to blog about student discounts.
After graduating, I wanted to come up with an idea that helps frugal shoppers to receive the best prices without wasting hours looking for deals online. This when I came up with the idea of Panda CashBack. One place that combines rebates, coupons, and offers to provide online shopper with the highest saving possible with a single click.
2. How do you go about finding all of the cash back discounts from various retailers? How does that work?
Many online retailers have an affiliate programs that allow website owners to partner with them. These retailers offer a sale commission for every sale take place through one of their affiliate.Blogs, and other websites tend to use the same program as well, the only difference we choose to share this commission back with our users. 3. What are you doing to promote your site and what’s working for you?
We have been around for 2 years, while we do some advertising, most of our visitors coming from the word of mouth and other partner websites specially as we offer a very generous referral commission of 20% life time commission for the referee. Some of the blogs rather use our affiliate program to monetize their blog over google adsense.
4. How do you monetize your site? Where does the cash flow come in as a cash back site?
The sale commission we receive every time one of our members make a purchase online at any of our partner website, while we give most of it back to the user, we keep a small portion of the commission for administration fee.
5. What are your future plans for 2014 and beyond?
Here at Panda CashBack we are committed to offer our members the highest discount possible, our future plans focuses on implementing new features that will enable customers save even more money not only online but offline as well such as printable coupons and local deals.
